Keep your beautiful patina on your workpiece by sealing it with wax.
This beeswax is solid in form and not easily spreadable without heating. By heating the wax and your jewelry or design, the wax will be absorbed into your fired silver, bronze, or copper clay, as these materials remain slightly porous.
Usage:
- Seal and protect the patina on your workpiece.
- Heat the beeswax with a hairdryer or heat tool. Use a cotton swab or blending pen with a clean nib to pick up the liquid wax.
- Heat your workpiece and rub the wax over the metal. After cooling, buff with a clean cloth.
- Also suitable for pergamano techniques. To use with pergamano, you can add a few drops of jojoba oil to make it easier to use with parchment paper.
