These Busch®-setting burs are suitable for setting stones and are used to cut a smooth setting for setting gemstones. Sizes are calibrated to fit standard brilliant cut round gemstones.
These drills are made from cost-effective tungsten vanadium, cut precisely and can be used at low speeds.
Use these burs in silver clay by first pre-drilling a smaller size hole with a metal drill bit and then using the burs to make the bevel for the stone.
The burs can be used in dried clay as well as in a fired workpiece.
Clean the burs in between if it is used in dried clay with eg a toothbrush for optimal performance.
