Made from commercially pure grade 1 titanium, this earring is naturally hypoallergenic, ideal for customers with metal sensitivities.
These earring studs can be baked in the silver clay at a low temperature (700°C). Make sure the saucer is covered with paste so that the plug cannot come loose.
Note: Grade 1 Titanium is pure titanium, it is a softer metal. The plug will bend if too much pressure is applied. The stud bends back when opposite pressure is applied, keep this in mind when placing the earring crown by bending the curls slightly with a flat piece of metal (or nail).
The plug can also be attached with 2-component glue or jewelry glue by drilling a hole in your baked silver. They are also suitable for gluing on a semi-drilled pearl or gemstone.
