This Solder Burner is a manually operated butane refillable micro torch with Piezo electronic ignition and stable flame. The torch can be used for firing your silver clay and soldering.
By default, the safety catch (1) is closed, pull it down with your thumb to ignite the burner by pressing the trigger (2). Adjusting the gas supply (4) controls the size of the flame. The air control switch (5) allows the flame to be supplied with oxygen, resulting in a hotter flame (1300°C) which is suitable for soldering work.
The continuous operation switch (3) can be turned on when the trigger (2) is depressed, allowing the gas burner to be used without holding the trigger. The continuous flame thus enables particularly simple operation. When the gas supply (3) is closed, the burner goes out and the safety catch (1) automatically engages.
The tank of the professional gas burner hf2 contains 64 ml content for lighter gas and can be used for about 60 to 70 minutes, but it is better to let the burner cool down regularly in between.
The Petromax professional gas burner hf2 is fully TÜV and GS tested.
CAUTION: Metal parts on top get hot, allow burner to cool before refilling. Keep flammable materials away from your work area. Do not place the burner in the sun and keep it out of the reach of children.
To fill:
Make sure the burner is off and cool. Always fill the burner completely with butane gas for proper operation. Remove the base stand (6) Before filling, turn the burner upside down and fill with a pumping motion, this will release the air from the burner. Fill the burner until it is full (then a little liquid gas sprays over the bottom). Wait another 5 minutes before using the burner.
