The PasteMaker™ solution, created by Sherri Haab, provides an ideal method of making a smooth paste for a very strong bond with any metal clay. Make your own "Oil paste" to make repairs even after baking
- The solution is ready to use: Simply mix 6-10 drops of the paste maker with a pea-sized piece of metal clay or silver clay and mix to a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Use the solution instead of water to create a bond between 2 pieces of dried or wet clay by applying and waiting for it to soften and then pressing the 2 pieces together, holding it in place under pressure to create a get a strong connection.
Store the unused paste in an airtight container.
With bronze and copper clay, use the paste to make connections and attachments in the same color as your workpiece. To be used on moist, leather-hard or dry clay.
The paste is also ideal for repairing baked pieces (re-baking).
With silver clay, use the paste to bond leather-hard, dry or baked pieces.
