Instructions:
- Place a small amount of borax powder in a glass or porcelain dish.
- Gradually add water to the flux until a paste is formed.
- Apply a thin layer of the paste to the workpiece.
- Heat the workpiece evenly with a soldering torch.
- Add solder and heat again until the solder flows, then remove the flame immediately.
- Allow the workpiece to cool slowly for further treatment.
- Place the workpiece in a (safe) acid bath to dissolve and remove the flux.
Safety precautions:
Wear gloves and a dust mask when preparing the flux mixture. Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes. The product contains disodium tetraborate (anhydrous), a substance that may cause irritation. Store this product tightly closed and out of reach of children and animals.
