Olive oil is a natural product without additives and can be used with silver clay without any issues. It prevents sticking and keeps tools and hands clean without affecting the clay or the final result.
Apply the oil sparingly. You can use a brush to distribute it evenly over a texture mat. This oil is an excellent alternative to silicone spray.
Application
Do you have warm, dry hands? Silver clay may dry out more quickly. Apply a thin layer of oil to your hands and also coat your Teflon work surface, rolling board, and roller before rolling out the clay. Use the oil on texture mats for smooth processing, preventing the clay from sticking to the mat.
